Adaptation of Machine Tools Annex V Legislative Decree 81/08

Adapting a machine to Annex V of Legislative Decree 81/2008, mandatory for all machines installed before 1996 that are not CE marked, is an aspect not to be underestimated and is the result of various operational and logical activities that only partially include the security analysis.

-Availability of Budget

Each company by definition has limited resources to carry out its activities and that's why these should not be wasted. It is absolutely useless and counterproductive to create non-compliant protection systems, which do not reduce the risk except in a very partial way and still absorb our resources. It is more profitable to make an analysis of the activities to be carried out to obtain the adaptation to Annex V and to allocate a small resource every year, even just to mount the correct signs, rather than installing a protection that must subsequently be removed. It is a more coherent activity.
